Health Care Reform

ACTION United believes that every citizen deserves access to affordable, quality health care. ACTION United supports the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that President Obama signed into law on March 23, 2010. The ACA limits insurer's control over health care decisions by prohibiting rules to discriminate against people who are sick, expanding access to health coverage, and establishing new protections for the insured.
