Leslie P. Hill School Parents Protest Cuts Making School Unsafe for Kids

On March 24 Parents gathered at Leslie P. Hill to protest the budget cuts which resulted in their school nurse only being at the school one day a week. Parents of children with asthma and other chronic conditions worry about the safety of their kids. ACTION United members Rosemary Tarver and Dawn Hawkins point out that their children do not have part time asthma so they need more than a part time nurse.
